Tippy Does:#Worth The Money – Top 5 Pampered Chef Items

There’s a difference between cheap and frugal.

Cheap people don’t want to spend money on anything.

Frugal people don’t want to spend money unnecessarily.

Enter quality items that might cost more but are worth it because of their durability, ease of use, innovative design, etc.

If you are already familiar with Pampered Chef, you know it’s  been around for almost four decades, sells through tiered independent distributors, and offers professional grade kitchen wares to the private home.

A testament to the quality of packaging via Pampered Chef deliveries – Flip the goat was home alone without [human] adult supervision when my last boxes of PC items were delivered. He did his best to get to the products but couldn’t! #NoProductHarmed #GoatProof #ThatSaysSomething

Their products are going to cost you more than a box store item will.

But among other Pampered Chef items that I own and love, there are FIVE holy grail items I use on a regular basis that I have deemed especially #WorthTheMoney for the frugal home

  • Dual-Sided Cleaning Brush
    • Where has this thing been all of my life?  Stiff bristles, pointed end, just right angles.  I can clean *anything* with this bad boy.
    • If you’re like me and think to yourself pre-purchase, “It’s ok, I have a dollar store toothbrush for detail cleaning”… you’re wrong.  So wrong.  The cleaning a toothbrush offers does not compare to this brush.
  • Medium scoop
    • Crank out meatballs and cookies like no one’s business with this work horse that generates symmetrical spheres with one hand.
    • For all it’s working parts, it’s easy to clean and maintain.
  • Measuring Utensils
    • (Ok, technically, this is more than one item.)
    • Measure All cup
      • I own the typical glass measuring cups and I cannot remember the last time I used them for their intended purpose.  Instead, this favored multi-use tool saves space and time.  There is nothing I’ve found better for measuring sticky or semi-solid ingredients like honey, nut butters, sour cream, butter, etc.
      • It measures liquids or powders equally as well; the tall, slim design takes up a smaller footprint in your kitchen cabinetry than a traditional measuring cup.
      • There are multiple sizes.  If I could only choose one, I would choose the 2 cup/pint size every time.
    • Adjustable Measuring Spoon Set
      • Ask yourself: Do you really need more than two utensils to measure a range of one tablespoon to 1/8 of a teaspoon?  You don’t.
      • These space saving utensils are handy and easy to clean.  I’ve owned my set for years, and they are going strong with plenty of use.
  • Mix’n Scraper spatula
    • The perfect blend of sturdiness and flexibility, this is the tool for detailed scraping of everything from weighty doughs to thin sauces.  With reasonable care, it will last for years.
    • When you factor in how often how often you might re-purchase cheaper replacement spatulas after they wear out, this item could feasibly save you money during it’s hardy lifespan.
  • 5” Santoku Knife
    • My first culinary knife collection was a $17 block set on clearance at KMart.  I had nowhere to go but up on the scale of improvement.  My next purchase was the Pampered Chef Santoku knife set and I have been extremely satisfied over the years with it’s performance!  Of the ten quality knives I now own, this is the one I reach for again and again.

I have a multitude of other Pampered Chef items that I enjoy, but I offer up these top five to be deemed #WorthTheMoney in case you’ve been considering their purchase.

I have been so impressed with Pampered Chef over the years that I did consider becoming a consultant for a short while.  Now I leave that to my trusted ‘Kristi Duo Dream Team’  consisting of my sister-in-law Kristi J. and cousin Kristi G..  (If my name were Kristi, I would have absolutely had to join the club; I really wouldn’t have had a choice.)

As always, here’s a video for those that prefer auditory learning!

Mix n scraper mini !!! I reach for those (I say those because I have more than one) and the regular size one FIRST…. I have ‘other’ scrapers but those are by far my faves!
The cookie scoop is on point.
If I were to make a top 5 list the Stoneware would be on that list. Pizza and cookies. I can’t bake them on anything else. The garlic press would most likely be on that list as well.
Gosh. That brush tho, I need that one in my life.
The knife set: I’ve been wanting to get rid of my mix n match bundle of knives and get a set. Sooooo maybe I’ll give these a try 🤔😁
